Due to an internal move we currently have an opportunity for a State Vending Manager to lead the NSW Vending field sales team based at Rydalmere. Reporting to the State Sales Manager, you will be responsible for achieving sustainable growth and profitability of the vending channel through executing sales strategies, providing strong leadership and building team capability.

Key accountabilities for the role

Customer Management & Sales Execution



  • Execute sales plans across the Vending channel to achieve key objectives such as sales performance, selling expenses and net contribution

  • Contribute to the development of state Vending channel strategies to achieve key objectives

  • Ensure the consistent execution of and commitment to trade standards and key service and promotional compliance measures to deliver competitive advantage and improve margins across all channels

  • Develop strong and mutually beneficial relationships with key state-based customers


New Business



  • Contribute to execution of new business strategy set by National Business Managers


People Leadership



  • Lead, coach and develop the Area Sales Managers and broader team to increase capability and ensure solid leadership throughout the state Vending teams

  • Demonstrate and exercise a commitment to promote, develop and improve the health, safety and welfare of our people


Essential Requirements



  • Sales experience in a FMCG or related environment

  • Proven capability of leading, developing and motivating a sales team

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Results driven

  • Strong analytical thinking capability, pro-actively challenges the 'status quo'

  • Experience within the Vending business (desirable)
